Earth Day Oil Gusher--BP
Below is the intermittent live feed from BP's own rover camera over the leak. It's horrifying. Once it starts to move you can double click for a full screen view.Today, June 13, the image is almost completely black except for a couple of white lights. That's oil you are looking at. A few days ago you could see the blowout "preventer" now the image shows just a swirl of black. Occaisonally the robot moves around and you can see the pinchers opening and closing and the camera operator changes the angle and enlargement. You can visit the compilation of 12 different seafloor feeds at the following addresses. The BP media player seems to work on more platforms the .gov website compiles them all together.

BP pitches its acronym to stand for Beyond Petroleum and is using UC Berkeley as part of $500 Million scam to refurbish their image.
The wound to the Gulf of Mexico reveals the essential truth of the fossil fuel industry.
"BP will be able to use Berkeley's facilities and reputation to project a green image to the public that it hardly deserves." http://www.i-sis.org.uk/The_BP-Berkeley_Deal.php
BP made 5.6 Billions net profit on oil price increases in just the first three months of 2010.
BP" said replacement cost net profit, which strips out unrealized gains related to rises in the value of inventories, was $5.60 billion in the quarter, up from $2.39 billion in the same period of 2009, thanks to higher oil and gas prices"

Santa Barbara Oil spill was less oil than just one day's worth of the Gulf spill at BP's own estimation
"For eleven days, oil workers struggled to cap the rupture. During that time, 200,000 gallons of crude oil bubbled to the surface and was spread into a 800 square mile slick"
but it helped launch an offshore oil drilling ban.
California politicians have been sucking up to the oil companies and while theShwarzenegger is now running scared
"Among those who have embraced the technology-makes-it-safe argument are Republican wannabe governor Steve Poizner and his front-running rival, Meg Whitman.
“When I started this process, I was against offshore oil drilling,” Whitman told reporters in Santa Barbara last year, “and then I began to understand deeply the new technology that is available to extract oil from existing wells.”"

The gulf stream "loop current" is likely to suck this spill up out of the Gulf onto Cuba and Florida shores.
Meanwhile UC berkeley is still in bed with BP on a fake out scheme to make them look green--when ethanol and similar feints are really just more of the same.
Bay Area residents have a target of opportunity in the UC connection.
BP out of California--BP out of the Gulf of Mexico--BP Out of Mother Earth.
